The Miscellaneous term refers to the following items: clothing, footwear, toiletries, home toiletries, jewelry, lingerie, perfumes and food.
- Pick-up in Havana.
- Home delivery all along the island.
42 pounds is the established maximum amount of pounds to be sent to Cuba. If these 42 pounds are divided into small individual parcels of 6 pounds each, then these won't pay tariff in Cuba.
Once in cuban soil an ID card (Carnet de Indentidad) is needed to pick -up the packages. This ID must be showed at all times to cuban officials.
DURABLE items are those that do not classified as Miscellaneous. Their difference lays in the way durable items are treated when making a package.
Durable items which customs value is of up to 30 pts. are exempt from payments in Cuba if they are sent in individual parcels. If durable items are grouped in one single parcel; they will proceed to accumulate the sum of customs values of each item. Only the first 30 points will be freed of payment.
